Life in the D household has been surprisingly calm since bringing home Miss Cecilia. She is an incredibly easy-going baby, which makes things a lot easier around here. Kamryn is doing a great job adjusting to life as a new big sister. We have our moments, but hopefully those will come less and less as she gets more used to having her sister around. Kamryn is glued to Paul 24/7. She gives me the cold shoulder quite often when Paul is around. She is fabulous during the day when it is just us, but once her buddy comes home, she wants nothing to do with me! It is hard to share your mommy with someone else, especially when that someone else is constantly attached to your mommy!
Cecilia is working on getting back to her birth weight. Hopefully when we go to the doctor on Thursday for her 2 wk check-up, we will be back on track. I can't imagine that she wouldn't be considering she eats very well! She is starting to wake me up at night to eat, before I had to wake her every 3-4 hours to eat. Once she eats, she is right back to sleep! She is like a timer during the day, every 3 hours we eat! This is actually working out to our advantage with Kamryn as well. She is creature of habit and thrives on a schedule. We are quite structured at home these days, we follow the same eating, napping, play schedule every day and Kam is doing so well!
