We had quite a fun-filled, exciting weekend away! Paul's sister got married this weekend! Paul and Kamryn were both in the wedding and I was one of the bride's personal attendants. It was a VERY busy weekend, but we had a great time! Paul and Kamryn picked me up from school on Friday afternoon and we headed south to Paul's hometown! We had the wedding rehearsal and a wonderful dinner at the best pizza place ever! We stayed at Paul's mom and dad's house for the weekend. We went to bed early on Friday so that we could all get our beauty sleep! :) I was so worried that Kamryn would not sleep well and then in return be crabby for the wedding, but she slept SO well at Gma and Gpa's house! She woke up happy and ready for the LONG day ahead!
I had to be at the church early to help with all of the wedding duties, so Paul drove Kamryn around for awhile to get her to sleep. My mom and dad drove down for the wedding as well! We were so thankful to have them there because they took care of Little Miss while Paul and I took pictures, etc. They also got her ready and to the church in time for a couple of pictures and the ceremony! It was beautiful! The bride was gorgeous, the wedding party looked great, God blessed us all with a beautiful day, minus the wind, and overall the wedding went off without a hitch! :)
Kamryn was a flower girl along with her two cousins, Emma - 3 and Josie - 10 months. Kamryn and Josie were pulled down the aisle in a cute little wagon. The girls were adorable! They did so well! They just sat and smiled and were very confused as to why they had to get out of the wagon so quickly! They wanted to ride around for awhile!
After the wedding, we took a few more pictures and then my mom and dad took Kam back to their hotel for a nap and dinner.
The reception was fun! We had a great dinner and it was nice to visit with all of the family! Mom and Dad brought Kamryn back for the festivities. She ate some cake, visited with a few people and finally fell asleep! She was pooped! What a great day! She went back to the hotel with my parents and ate and played and didn't go to bed until after 10! (Thats the fun part of staying with the grandparents!) Paul and I danced up a storm at the reception and went to church in the morning with Paul's parents and then picked Kamryn up and headed home! Of course we had to stop and do a little shopping on the way home! We even had time to play outside for awhile! I mowed the lawn while Paul and Kamryn played and worked in the yard. It was a great weekend! I have to get pictures from my mom to post, but I will definitely do that soon! The little girls looked so cute in their dresses and they even had little headbands with big bows on them to keep SOME of Kamryn's crazy hairs in place! :) She looked like a very dainty peacock! :)
