Wow! Where has time gone? It has been way too long since I have last blogged! I had big plans to go "blog crazy" over spring break, but obviously that did not happen! We are just one busy family! You know it has been too long when Paul even asks, "Did you blog anything new yet?" (He secretly loves the blog!)
We had a wonderful spring break! We stayed around the house and worked outside when it was nice and visited my parents and Gigi a couple of times each. Gma Margie and Gpa Tom came over and visited us as well at the end of the break. It was so fun! Gma and Gpa brought Kamryn an Easter basket full of goodies! Kam was SO excited for new toys! I felt awful because Paul and I had been complaining about how Kam just really did want to play independantly for any length of time, but come to find out, the poor thing just wanted some new toys to play with! She was bored with the old ones!!! Thank goodness Gma and Gpa brought her some new plastic gardening tools and bucket in a cute little basket! Kam played with EVERY item and really enjoyed the basket itself! She loved taking her toys out of her basket and putting them back in!! Maybe we have another "cleaner" in our family... like her daddy! She played and played and played. Mommy and Daddy really loved the chocolate Easter candy that Gma put in her bucket as well! :)
We also took a trip up north to stay overnight and shop at IKEA! Kamryn took her first dip in a pool and LOVED it! She is such a fish! I figured that she would probably enjoy swimming because of how much fun she has in her bathtub! She is NOT afraid of water at all! She sticks her head in the water in her bath and tried the same thing in the pool (although Mommy wouldn't let her - icky germs!) We have such adorable videos of her with both Paul and I in the pool, I will put them on and update some pictures ASAP! Kamryn did a great job sleeping in her pack n play although she was really tired of being in her carseat for the majority of the trip! She slept most of the way up and back, but was wide awake to shop at IKEA! Just like her Mama! Our mission was to find something to organize and keep Kamryn's toys in. We found the perfect thing! What a successful trip!
It was so nice to just have all 3 of us at home together for an entire week! Paul and I felt like Kamryn grew up so much over those 7 days. I am sure it was just the fact that we were with her so much, but regardless, our baby isn't much of a baby anymore! :( She now has her 2 bottom teeth in and a corner of a molar as well! She is loving her big girl food and is finally starting to fill out - mostly in her cheeks and chin(s) and in her thighs! :):) A perfect blend of mom and dad! Sorry about that, pumpkin! :)
Pictures and video updates coming soon! :)
